I forced the handle down to open one side of the box thought it was just stubborn, and ended up stripping the handle. It will not engage the rod connecting the three latches. Loading from one side can be a bit of a hassle. Can this be fixed and if so by who or can I do it myself. Thanks

For a replacement handle for your Skybox 16 part # Y07336 you would want the part # Y8880348. This comes with two handles so that you can replace both and have matching lock cores.
You would have no problem installing the handle yourself. I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions that will walk you through the entire process.
