Question:

I have a Yamika skybox, either 18 or 21. It has the diamond shaped hinge on the front and back. The front got damaged after I loaned it to a friend and needs to be replaced. It looks like the one you have listed for the Yamika 12 and 16. Will that work for the 18 or 21?

So even though your Yakima SkyBox 18 #Y07336 or SkyBox21 # Y07337 has the diamond shaped hinges currently, those are an older model hinge that is no longer used by Yakima; you also won't be able to use the Replacement Front Lid Support 8870090 since they are not the correct size for your larger box.

Instead, you will want to replace both of the hinges on your box per Yakima's recommendation. You will want to use # 8880683 for the front hinge replacement and # 8880684 for the rear hinge replacement.
