Do Yakima SkyBox Roof Cargo Boxes Come with Grease In the Lock Core Housing

Question:
I changed out the SKS lock cores to match the locks on my other Yakima products so that I will only have to use one key for everything. Traditionally, the lock cores are dry and Yakima recommends using a dry graphite lube. However, the lock cores that I removed from the Skybox were loaded up with grease. Has Yakima changed their recommendation, or is this something specific to the Skybox?

The Yakima SkyBox cargo boxes, like the NX 18 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y45AV, will come with grease in the lock core housing according to my contact at Yakima.
She also did point out that the dry graphite lubricant is good to use on the external part of the lock core as well since it doesn't attract dust and dirt.
