Replacement Handles For Yakima SkyBox For Latches That Won't Engage

Question:

So now both of my latches on my yakima cargo box don’t engage, as soon as I unlock the cores the latches just fall without any engagement. How do I get to open the box and or do I have to replace the latches? But I’m sure I have to open the box to access the latch mechanism from the other side.

To open your Yakima SkyBox with the handles not engaging you'll have to drill them out, unfortunately, and that does mean you need to replace the latches. The correct part is the following:
