Question:
I looked all over and the 10 pin connector is the only one. I checked the incoming wires to the connector for function. WB Brake LR Battery (always hot) LgB Right turn BG Left turn RY Tail (there are 2 of these) B Ground (there are 2 of these) LW Couldn't figure out what this is connected to. I guess I will have to go with a universal hookup and splice into the wires I need. Thanks for your quick response to my question.

Expert Reply:
The connector on the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, item # 118461, is a 6 pin connector and most likely will not work on your vehicle if the connector is a 10 pin connector.
See if you can find a mating connector in the rear of your vehicle. Look around because the Subaru Forester connector can be in several locations like right up against the back seat or on the drivers side, passengers side or on along the back threshold of the vehicle. You may find the correct connector if the one you have already located is not the only one present or the correct mating connector.
