I spoke with my contact at Fulton. He stated the Repair Kit for Fulton Channel Tongue Coupler with Hand Wheel Latch, # F520801, is for the 34318 series Fulton handwheel couplers that accept a 2 inch diameter ball.

I just found this because I was thinking of repllcing the 2" coupler on My Dad's 60 year old trailer. I had no idea that parts would be available for the old coupler that is missing the spring and ratchet lever. But, I see the repair kit costs 1 cent more than replacing the whole old Fulton coupler with a new one?? Is that correct, or am I missing something here? .

The pricing is correct for the Repair Kit. Sometimes this will happen and it's just a matter of manufacturer pricing, demand, availability, etc. If it's not too much trouble to simply replace the coupler itself that might be your best option. It sounds like the Fulton # F3080217 will work well.
