Recommended Lock Options for Fultion Hand Wheel Latch when the Trailer is Connected to Tow Vehicle

Question:
I am towing a uhaul trailer cross country, and I found out all their trailers use a handwheel latch for securing the trailer coupler to the hitch ball. Im interested in security measures available to keep anyone from being able to unscrew the handwheel latch and remove the trailer from my tow vehicle while parked overnight in hotel parking lots. Im used to towing boat trailers that typically have a levered latch that allows for a simple master lock to be inserted into the pin preventing release of the latch. Not sure what the equivalent would be for the handwheel latch. Ive seen plenty of locks for handwheel latch couplers for use when the trailer is NOT connected to a tow vehicle to prevent theft of an unconnected trailer. However, I am looking for a lock for a handwheel latch coupler that prevents the latch from being released by a thief while connected to a tow vehicle. Thanks,

Locking the hand wheel coupler to your vehicle can be tricky. You have a few options as you mentioned you can use a lock with the coupler removed from the ball of your vehicle like the Master Lock Universal Trailer Coupler Lock # 379DAT.
To keep the trailer mounted to your tow vehicle and lock it, you will need to use an alternative lock than a coupler lock. I recommend the Blaylock EZ Trailer Wheel Lock # BLEZ-302. This prevents the trailer from rolling by attaching to the wheel on the trailer.
I have linked an installation video of the wheel lock for you to check out.
