If your 2015 Subaru Outback also have the factory raised side rails (which it should) then yes, you can add alternate crossbars using SkyLine towers # Y53TR, Landing Pad # Y00241, round bar adapters # Y03536, and crossbars # Y00409. These are 58 inch long crossbars which will provide enough space for 2 canoes side by side.
Please note the roof weight carrying capacity of the vehicle is 150 pounds. Keep that in mind prior to loading.
For a canoe carrier I recommend using 2 of # TH819 which will allow you to carry the 2 canoes on the Yakima round bars. These carriers will also come with the tie downs needed to secure the canoes to the vehicle and to the roof rack.
