how much torque on the drawn down bolt and how to adjust the jaws for a tighter fit getting a litt

The recommended torque rating for the draw down bolt of your B and W Companion part # BWRVK3500 is 60 ft lbs.
There is no adjustment for the jaws of the hitch. A little play is normal so that the trailer can turn without issue. One interesting tip for helping with chucking (if that is what you are experiencing) is to increase the braking of the trailer brakes. Having them stop a little bit more will prevent the trailer from clunking as it slides forward from your truck brakes applying harder.
