How Does a Brake Controller Install on a 2016 Ram 1500 with a 7-Way

Question:

Recently purchased Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab w/outdoorsman pkg.Need to install brake control You sell them but would like to see instructions for MY truck. I have searched for video and or detailed instructions to no avail. The truck has 2 trailer coupling flat 4 and 7-9 conn. Bergman style it is said to be wired from factory but doesnt have factory brake unit. If you could forward me any instructions Id be grateful. Ive done several installs using your products in the past with good results due to your excellent instructions

To install a brake controller in your 2016 Ram 1500 with a factory 7-way like the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 all you would need is the install harness part # 3024-P.

To install the controller you will need to locate the vehicle’s electric brake control harness connector. The harness will be located underneath the dash and right of the steering column, taped to another harness. There will be a 4-pin connector that mates with the one on the adapter. I attached a picture of what it looks like.

It's basically that simple. We don't have an install video yet that I can show you, but I did attach a link to the install instructions for the # 3024-P.
