Question:
I am thinking of purchasing the equalizer WD hitch. The installation manual calls for a ball shank of less than 2 3/8inch long to not void the warranty. I am finding that 2 1/2inch length is the commonly recommended length in ht QandA. so will the longer shank work? What about the warranty? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
Since Equalizer specifically recommends a hitch ball at or less than 2-3/8 inches in length with a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank you would want to use the part # 63018 for a 2 inch ball or part # 63019 for a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball with the part # EQ37100ET. If you were not going to use the one that came with it.
