Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2009 Chevy Express Van with or without Tow Package

Question:
I have a 2009 chevy van. I would like to put a flat four trailer wiring harness from your company in the vehicle. When I enter my vehicle information into your website to purchase the harness, it asks me if I have a trailer package in the van. How can i find out if I have a trailer package or not in the Chevy? There are two harnesses available for that year. Please advise. Thanks,

The final authority on whether or not a vehicle has a tow package will be a Chevy dealer. If you give them your VIN they will be able to tell you.
However, if you do not have trailer wiring on your 2009 Chevy Express there is a very strong chance you do not have the tow package. So then for wiring you would want the # 55540. Also, this will fit models of the Express that do have the tow package as well so either way it will work for you.
