Question:

I own a 2011 21 foot V nose Haulmark trailer. The white vent up top is falling apart, cracking to the touch. Is there a standard vent or do I have to measure. If so, measure the hole or is there another way?

Many of the trailer roof vents use a standard 14-1/4 x 14-1/4 inch rough opening. The vent cover you choose will depend on the hinge style. I have attached three photos of roof vent covers that shows the hinge styles. Check out the vent on your trailer and see if it matches any of the three in the photos and that will make it easier to find a replacement. I have also attached a link to the vent covers and vents we offer.

If you decide to replace the vent altogether you can check out the mentioned link to find the vent you want.

If you have a manually operated vent I recommend a replacement like part # V2092SP-28. This is the Ventline Ventadome. This is a manually operated vent that will fit roofs that are 1-7/8 to 3 inches thick. This vent has a white cover and includes a snap-out screen.

When installing the vent I recommend our Installation Kit, part # 344270KITW. This kit includes all the sealant, tape, and screws needed to install the new vent.
