Question:
I need a 2 foot long tongue extension for my ATV trailer since I just bought a truck camper. It needs to fit in a 6 inch long area with an I.D. of 1 3/4 x 2 inches. Do you have anything like that? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
Instead of using a tongue extender for your trailer you could use a hitch extender like the part # C45791 to basically get the same effect. This is an 8 inch extender that would work well for you.
You should note that using an adapter like this will cut the capacity of the hitch on your truck in half.

I would like to use the Curt Hitch 8" Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers (Item # C4579) with a Kuat CV 2.0 bike rack. Can you please recommend both an external anti-rattle device to secure the Curt Hitch Extender as well as an anti-rattle 5/8" pin to secure the Kuat CV 2.0 bike rack. Thank you very much.
