Question:

I see you sell two front receiver hitches for a 2015 Tahoe. Do you have any pictures or data regarding of a FRONT mounted receiver on a 2015 Tahoe ? I am interested in the affect on ground clearance and/or the degree of cutting into the plastic trim is needed. The 2015 Tahoe is already city ready with the low front black plastic air dam so am interested if the hitch hangs lower and if so how much.

Expert Reply:

You are going to have to trim out a section of your front air dam to install the Curt Hitch part # C31073 that is 3 inches wide by 1.50 inches tall. A similar amount of trimming is required for the Draw Tite hitch part # 65064 as well. The other option is to just remove the air dam.

I attached a picture that shows a similar Tahoe with the air dam removed and the hitch installed.
