Could you tell me if this landing gear will fit a 1988 Jayco 5th wheel camper Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set - Drop Leg - 18inch Lift - 8,000 lbs Bulldog Camper Jack 2 reviews Code: BD500162

The Bulldog # BD500162 landing gear bolts to its brackets, but the brackets would weld to the trailer frame. You should be able to reuse your existing brackets as long as they're not damaged or excessively corroded.

The jacks would be the correct replacement for Lippert, Venture, and Atwood landing gear, as well as those from a few other manufacturers. The sure way to tell is that if the distance between the mounting brackets (underside of top bracket to top of lower bracket as shown in the diagram) is 17-1/2 inches. If this is the case, the landing gear should fit just fine.

Essentially the #LG-196308 and the #LC196308 are identical. I'd go with the lower priced of the two since neither is a better choice than the other.
