The 2004 Saturn Vue used in the video, linked for reference, for wiring harness # 18002 has a factory tow package wire bundle. The factory tow package wire bundle already has the turn signal and brake light signals combined to wire in a 4-Way directly. No converter is needed.

Otherwise you would use wiring harness # 118418 which does have a converter to combine the separate signals.
