Can electric brakes be installed on a 5x10 utility trailer with a 72 inch axle ?

Yes they can, if you check out the link I attached you will see a page that has a guide on how to add electric drum brakes to a trailer.
Basically you are going to need to know what spindle you have on your trailer so that you can determine what brake drum/hub would fit it and then build it from there.
