Black Plastic Fender Recommendation for a Harbor Freight Trailer

Question:

I need to replace the heavy metal fenders that came standard on my Harbor Freight folding utility trailer see 90154 I am not sure which black plastic fenders would be best for this. The wheel is specified as 12, but the metal rim showing on the outside is about 12-3/4inch diameter, and the rubber tire is about 20-1/2inch diameter. Because the trailer folds in half just in front of the axle, I cannot use the front-and-rear L-Brackets to mount the fenders. The OEM mounts are bolted in 2 spots to the middle of the fender, and therefore require a flat undersurface to attach to. The OEM fender mounting brackets are sized for a 6inch high fender. I can send pics if you need them. What is your recommendation? Thanks

You have 12 inch rims, but extra 3/4 of an inch you measured is for the lip of the tire that does not count towards the overall diameter.

The black fenders part # F008559 should work well for you, but to utilize your current mounting setup you would need to trim these fenders near the underside so that you could attach them to your mounting brackets. You would also need to drill through the top of the fenders too.
