I went to the warehouse and took some measurements of the Brophy Banjo Eye, part # BE31 and part # BE38. I have attached a photo of the Banjo Eye with the dimensions noted.
Both of these measures 3-1/2 x 3-5/8 inches and the material is .310 inches thick. The only difference between them is the diameter of the eye in plate. The BE31 is designed for a 5/16 inch diameter safety chain and the BE38 is designed for 3/8 inch diameter.
