Question:

We bought a Tow Ready 4-bike hitch mount bike rack in 2009. I believe it was replace by 63124, or at least it looks identical. The rack is still going strong, just need a new anti-rattle hitch pin because we lost the one that came with it originally. Is there a direct replacement part or a suitable substitute?

If you have a 2 inch shank on Your Tow Ready Bike carrier the replacement threaded hitch pin you need is part # P5901. This is a 5/8 inch pin that includes the threaded pin and clip to hold your bike secure in the trailer hitch.

If you want a locking hitch pin I recommend part # S64027. This is also the threaded hitch pin for a 2 inch receiver. This comes with 2 keys and has a protective cover to keep dirt and debris out of the lock.
