Trailer Hitch Installation on 2012 Audi Q5 S-Line Edition

Question:

Im looking at a Curt trailer hitch for my 2012 Audi Q5. Its the S-Line model and I think I read some reviews that say its more complicated to install the Curt on the S-Line. I believe the Curt hitch I will need is the C13136 Class III Please advise.

We do offer three choices in a 2-inch Class III trailer hitch receiver for your 2012 Audi Q5 S-Line Edition, viewable on the included link, and among these is the Curt # C13136 that you referenced.
All three hitches' installation will require temporary removal of underbody panels and lowering of the exhaust.

The linked instructions for the Curt hitch make no reference to any special install procedures for the S-Line edition. They linked file includes clear color photos and step by step instructions to complete the mounting of the hitch. It also lists the tools needed.
