The length of coiled tow bar wiring extensions depend on cable tension. Regardless of advertised lengths 7 or 8 feet, which is longer Roadmaster 146-7 or Demco 9523054? Another way of looking at it. For a fixed length eg 7 feet which has less tension Demco or Roadmaster?

The Roadmaster part # RM-146-7 would be longer than the Demco part # DM9523054 that you referenced. The Roadmaster is listed as having an extended length of up to 8 feet whereas the Demco is 7 feet so at 7 feet the Roadmaster would have less tension.
