Question:

I need a manual pull-out quad step in a 7 or 8 rise. The SMFP 4400 is too wide to fit into the slot of the 3 step I want to replace. The existing space is 27 3/8 . The 4400 looked the most sturdy. What do have there that will fit my application? The trailer is a 2012 Sanibel 3500. Thank you

The bolt to bolt distance on the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs, # SMFP-4400, measures 28-1/8 inches and the sliding bolt at it's highest point is approximately 3-1/2 inches below the mounting base. I have attached a dimensional diagram for you.

I recommend taking a look at the Manual Pull-Out Steps for RV, # LC432687. The mounting base of these stairs measure just a hair larger at 27-1/2 inches so you might want to take another quick measurement to make sure that these will work for you. The bolt hole centers on these steps is 26 inches wide x 7 inches deep.
