How Does Wire Attach to Pollak Single-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket

Hello, Ive purchased the single pole connectors in the past and always have a difficult time attaching the wire. Are there directions or an additional kit available to assist? Thank you,

Single pole trailer connector # PK11851 accepts such large gauge wire that a set screw could work for holding the wire in place inside the connector. But it is designed so that you can solder the wire in. You can get a soldering iron kit fairly inexpensively just about anywhere that sells tools and/or craft supplies.
