When flat-towing a vehicle like your 2002 Jeep Wrangler behind your motorhome, there are 5 items needed. You will need base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, wiring for the towed vehicle and most states now require a supplemental brake system.

Just in case you do not have all of these items I will make some recommendations that will work for you.

For base plates I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # RM-521424-4 if you have a double tube. These feature a hidden bracket design which have drawbars that are easily removed when you are not towing. If you have a single tube or U-channel bumper on your Wrangler I recommend part # 1420-1.

The tow bar I recommend is the Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar, part # RM-520. The safety cables I recommend are part # RM-643.

For lighting, I recommend the Hopkins Tail Light Wiring Kit, part # HM56202. This connects your Wrangler lighting system to the RV to activate the lights needed when towing. No cutting or splicing of the Jeep wiring is needed.

The supplemental brake system I recommend for your Wrangler is the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Proportional Braking System, part # RM-9400. This requires no cutting or splicing into the wiring, and includes a breakaway system that activates the Jeep brakes if it should become detached from the motorhome.

I have attached links to some videos and helpful articles you can check out.
