Ways to Install the Roadmaster Guardian Second Vehicle Kit

Question:
If I get the brackets to attach the Guardian to my second cars RM disconnect fittings on the cross bar, how exactly do the brackets install on the disconnect fittings, or is there no right/wrong way, as long as the holes line up with the bolts?

You can install the Second Vehicle Kit # RM-4000-1 in two different ways. I attached a picture that shows how either way it can be set up.
Option A will put the Guardian closer to the vehicle and Option B will push it further away.
So to answer your question directly yes, as long as the holes line up the # RM-4000-1 will install and work fine.
