Height Adjustability of Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch and 2013 Ford F-350 Long Bed

Question:

Good Day, I just ordered the Curt Q20 to work with my F 350 longbed with the prep package. I am fairly new to this, sorry. When I install the hitch I need to ensure is matches the height oif the 5th wheel pinbox when level, right? I had an Anderson ultimate hitch I am replacing and it had miminal adjustment. Also, any adjustment during installation for a long bed? Thnaks and have a good one,

For a 5th wheel trailer you will want to have 5 or 6 inches from the tops of the bed sides to the bottom of the trailer overhang when the trailer and truck are level.

The Curt Q20 for the Ford prep package, # C16530-16017, is height adjustable from 13 to 17 inches. But on most 5th wheel trailers you can also raise and lower the pin box for even more adjustments.

No front to back adjustments are needed on a long bed truck like your 2013 Ford F-350. Height adjustments would be all you would have to do.
