Question:

Will this ball mount work on a 2015 Silverdo 2500HD with a 2 1/2inch receiver and or are the locking pins not long enough? Thanks.

I have a solution for you, but the Diversi Tech Ball Mount part # DTLBM8200 is designed to fit 2 inch hitches so it wouldn't work for your truck that has a 2-1/2 inch hitch.

For a ball mount confirmed to fit your hitch size with the same amount of drop (2 inches), you would want the Curt Forged Ball Mount part # C45456. This ball mount has a 20k capacity which would be way more than you would need. For a 2-5/16 inch ball you would want part # 63840.
