This coupler features a simple-to-use latching mechanism known as the eZ-Latch. With this mechanism, hooking up is as easy as dropping the coupler over your trailer hitch ball. The latch does not need to be tugged or manually activated to allow the ball into the coupler socket, nor does it have to be secured in place. Just make sure that the coupler is properly lined up with the ball when you lower it, and the rest is automatic. Disengaging the coupler is just as effortless. Simply lift up the contoured handle and the coupler socket will automatically release its grip on the ball. The eZ-Latch's sleek, ergonomically designed handle is also constructed of a durable composite material that's corrosion-proof, allowing it to withstand whatever the road and the elements dish out.

After 1 year of having this welded into the front of a Taxa Mantis Overland trailer, I'm extremely happy. Quality and function are both top knotch. I have towed with it all across the USA, and it has been flawless in all conditions on and off road, rain or shine.
After having the old coupler removed and this welded on, I painted it with Rust-Oleum truck bed liner spray to help protect even further from corrosion and allow for grip when I occasionally use it as a step.
This is the bomb! Effortless to mount and dismount a trailer.
Installed this 1 year ago on a friend's trailer. He loves it. Strong secure and easy to hook up. Only wish we had done it sooner. Used 6 grade 8 bolts and washers and welded along the back edge. Has not moved. Light sanding and white paint has stayed adhered. Waiting? Stop you will not regret getting this coupler.

Its been on a year now, and I still love it. simplest coupler Ive ever used.
I have used this coupler for a year and I like it better than the one that came with the trailer originally. It just snaps on and locks. No fussing. My only problem with it is that it doesn't come for 30° A-frame trailers so I had to weld it on and it looks funny...

Still going strong. Still better than the original. Still looks funny. Still a buy in my opinion.
The product is great and is in good con dition.
I love the ease of using the coupler. It was also easy to install with the predrilled holes. It did bend pretty easy when my wife bumped the trailer with the zero turn mower. I would buy this product again.

This was a wonderful replacment for a broken coupler on my small camper. Extremely durable and I love the EZ latch system. Absolutely no issues whatsoever.
Item is made with heavy gauge steel and securely locks to the receiver ball. It does not come loose when you hit road bumps like the one it replaced.
Just wish the latch on top wasn't plast ic.

I have been changing out all of my trailer hitch couplers to the Demco Cast head design.
These are by far the best couplers on the market.
Super strong and they do not require a safety pin to keep them latched, it says so right on the side of the couplers. I have never had a Demco latch come off, not the case with other lesser quality couplers.

The only problem I had was getting the old one off.Lot of cutting torch and grinding Then it was on. Looks GR8 Fit perfect. works GR8
So easy to use! Back up drop her down, latch up, latch down this hitch doesn't care. Wish it was a factory option on my new GeoPro.
I am sold on Demco couplers I I have changed out most of the couplers on my trailers to Demco.

Excellent replacement part
This was a huge upgrade to my trailer, once my prior coupler broke I was told this was the way to go. Would purchase again in a heartbeat!
