I have read the listed specs of this coupler and aside from the cast head, they are virtually identical to the standard Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack Hole - eZ-Latch - Black - 2inch Ball - Bolt On - 10K Item # DM14793-81. The cast head is nearly Half the price of the stamped steel head. What are the pros and cons of this model?

You are correct. Other than how they are made, the Demco Cast Head Coupler w/ Jack Hole - eZ-Latch - 2" Ball - A-Frame - Bolt-On - 10K # DM37ZR and the # DM14793-81 have the same ratings and will work the same.
There is no pro or con to either, so I recommend going with the one that is the most cost effective at the time.
