Can the Demco Cast Head Coupler be Welded on Instead of Bolted on for an Installation?

Can the bolt on A frame coupler be welded on at a later date without compromising the product

Hey Robert!
Anything metal can be welded on, but you will need to remove some of the finish on the Demco Cast Head Coupler # DM37ZR in order to get a good weld. Just cover it back up with a finish of your choice and you'll be good to go!
I do recommend having someone do the work who has done this type of installation already. We definitely want to be careful when towing something (especially since this is rated for up to 10K!).

Hey Robert, how did things go with welding the Demco A-frame coupler later on? Did the finish hold up well after you covered it back up? Your update could make it easier for others thinking about doing the same thing.
