Specs:

  • Weight capacity: 2 tons
  • Base dimensions: 6-1/2" wide x 7-1/2" long

  • 1-Year warranty

Note: This jack is designed to lift and stabilize 2 tons and should not be used to lift over that weight.

Using a Unijack

Begin using the Unijack by placing it on solid, level ground in a vertical position under the vehicle or object you wish to lift. Determine the best lifting point to support the bottle jack and line up the piston ram underneath it. Once everything is lined up correctly, turn the lever switch at the base of the piston clockwise to allow you to move the piston up and down. After you have the vehicle lifted to the desired height, the jack will automatically lock into place. The Unijack will then double as a jack stand to support the lift. To unlock the jack, simply turn the lever at the base of the piston counterclockwise and the hydraulics will slowly move in a downward motion.

  • Can an Ultra-Fab Leveling Jack be Used to Change a Tire
We have better options because leveling jacks like the Ultra-Fab # UF48-979006 shouldn't be used to raise a vehicle. They're only for stabilizing despite their weight capacity. Instead you want something like the Powerbuilt bottle jack, part # ALL640405. It has plenty of capacity at 4,000 pounds and is for raising a vehicle like your X5 to change a tire. It's also pretty compact and not very expensive. Another option that's a bit of a step up is an electric scissor jack like part # PTW1609....

  • Replacement Tires for 2011 Jayco Jay Sport 8
Typically when it comes to replacing a trailer tire I recommend sticking with the same size. Although I do not know the weight capacity of your current tires, we do have the Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # TT53012C. This radial tire has a maximum load of 1,050 lbs at 80 psi with a max speed of 81 mph. It looks like your trailer has a GVWR of 1,995 lbs so these tires will handle that without any issues. Because of the tire size, it is also possible to go to a 145/80-12...

  • Recommended Jack for Changing Tire on 8,200 Pound Tandem Axle Trailer
The Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620470 referenced in your question has a weight capacity of 4,000 pounds. This is likely enough for your 8,200 pound trailer, but I recommend going up a bit with the Unijack # ALL620471 that is rated for 6,000 pounds. This will give you more of a safety margin for jacking up the trailer to change a tire. This bottle jack features a lift range of 11 to 21 inches and the safety bar locks the jack into place removing the need for jack stands. I have attached a...

  • Wheel Change Jack Compatible with Triple Axle Trailer
The Andersen Rapid Jack # AM3620 is not designed to work with triple axle trailers. If you are looking to use it for leveling, then I recommend the Andersen Camper Wheel Chock and Leveler # AM3604 for your application. The similar # EZ-JACK is also not for use on triple axle trailers. If you are looking to use for changing a tire there unfortunately isn't a drive on solution we can offer. You will need the Powerbuilt Unijack Bottle Jack with Built-In Jack Stand - 21" Lift - 6,000 lbs...

  • Recommended Lifting Jack To Carry With a Utility Trailer For Changing Flat Tires
I am going to recommend the Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620470 for carrying with your utility trailer as the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack # UF48-979032 is only designed to stabilize a trailer and is not to be used to lift the trailer axle off the ground. The Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620470 uses a hydraulic jack with a built in jack stand that will make it safer to use while you are changing the tire. It has a weight capacity of 4,000lbs, which is likely more than your 8' utility trailer is...

  • What is the Correct Way to Jack Up a Boat Trailer to Change a Tire
It is not recommend to jack up a trailer by the axle. This may cause damage to the axle itself. It also puts too much stress on the leaf springs. Instead, you will want to place the jack under part of the trailer frame preferably next to the leaf spring hangers. This will give you more room to use a jack like the Powerbuilt Unijack part # ALL620470 which has a 4,000 lb capacity and offer up to an 18-3/8" lift. The jack also has a built in stand for safety as most jacks are not designed...

  • Dimensions Of The Flat Spot On The Powerbuilt Unijack ALL620470 That Would Contact Frame Of Vehicle
I had our warehouse measure the Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620470 you were looking at, and the flat part of the saddle that would contact the frame of your vehicle measures 1-1/4" wide x 1-1/2" long as shown in the included diagram. I included a video review of the # ALL620470 for you to take a look at.

  • Can Boat Trailer Be Jacked Up To Change Flat Tire While Still Hooked Up To Truck?
Since a trailer hitch ball allows for quite a bit of side to side movement as to not bind up while driving, you shouldn't have any problems using a jack such as the # ALL620470 you were looking at lifting the trailer high enough to change a flat tire. I included a video of the # AL620470 for you to take a look at.

  • Recommended Powerbuilt Unijack Compatibility with 2012 Toyota RAV4
The Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620470 is rated for a capacity of 4,000 lbs. That means the weight on the jack and stand at any given point can be an absolute maximum of 4,000 lbs. With your 2012 Toyota Rav4 you will me able to easily change a tire or lift one corner with this jack. With 2, you could easily lift and support either the front or rear of the vehicle to be able to work under your SUV. I've attached a video of this jack lifting and supporting the passenger rear side of a 1/2...

  • Recommended Roadside Jack For Malone MicroSport Trailer
I recommend the Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620470 as this jack will easily slide underneath the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MAL25FR. It also has a safety bar that will lock in place unlike other hydraulic jacks that mechanically prevents it from lowering while you are working on the trailer. This will lift up to 4,000lbs between 8-5/8" and 18-3/8" high. The Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack # FXP10 would require you to bolt it to the trailer frame and the hardware included may...

  • Needing a Hydraulic Jack to Use with a 2013 Ram 1500
We do not carry a large selection of automotive jacks, but we do carry a jack that might work for you. The Powerbuilt Unijack, # ALL620470, would be the best option for your 2013 Ram 1500. This jack has a 4000 lbs weight capacity and includes a safety bar that locks the jack into place. We mostly carry bottle jacks that have high lift capacities to be used to change a tire on a loaded trailer or specialty floor jacks intended to be used on level ground. However, the Powerbuilt Unijack...

On your 2017 Open Range Roamer 5TH Wheel camper you should have a Crank Handle # RVLG-HDL that will allow you to still operate the front landing gear Jacks # LG-1 manually. The connection for the Jacks is generally found inside the drivers side door for either the propane tank or battery depending on what model your camper is. • Can the Powerbuilt Unijack Be Stored On Its Side
The Powerbuilt Unijack part # ALL620470 will need to be stored in an upright position like most bottle jacks so that it does not leak and so that air pockets cannot form inside. That said, the above only offers 18-3/8" of lift so you might need to use the Powerbuilt Unijack Bottle Jack with Built-In Jack Stand part # ALL620471 instead as this offers up to 21" of lift. The best way to store either of these would be in a truck bed toolbox like the DeeZee Red Label Truck Bed Toolbox part # DZ8546B.

According to my research your 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser has a curb weight over 4,000 lbs so you'll want to use the 6,000 lb Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620471 for your application. Even if you're only a few pounds over the weight capacity of the 4,000 lb jack # ALL620470 you asked about, jacks like these are designed to protect you when you're under the vehicle so if you use a jack that is being overloaded the jack could fail with someone under the vehicle.
