Can you jack up a boat trailer while it is attached to a truck? like if I got a flat tire would I need to unhook the trailer first?

Since a trailer hitch ball allows for quite a bit of side to side movement as to not bind up while driving, you shouldn't have any problems using a jack such as the # ALL620470 you were looking at lifting the trailer high enough to change a flat tire.
I included a video of the # AL620470 for you to take a look at.
