Question:
i have a lifted jeep and have trouble finding a scissor jack that extends high enough to get it off the ground in order to replace a spare tire. Would this work to lift my car in able to replace a flat or is there something else i should get instead?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Our scissor jacks should not be used to lift a car to replace a spare tire as they were not designed for that application. Instead, depending on how far you need to lift, you may be able to use the Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620470, which can lift up to 4,000 lbs and a range between 8-5/8" and 18-3/8", or Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620471 which has a lift capacity of 6,000 lbs and a lift range between 11" and 21". After lifting your vehicle the jack locks into place with a safety bar so you would not need an additional jack stand.
I've added links to video reviews of the jacks for you to take a look at.
