Question:

Ive just finished assembling a Malone Microsport Lowbed Kayak Trailer and am putting together an emergency road kit. For tire changes, Ill need something to jack up the side of the trailer Malone says to jack up on trailer frame near leaf springs, not on axle. Is there any way to use the Fulton # FXP10 as part of this solution? I cant see how, but thought Id ask. If not, what jack would you recommend for this? Thanks!

I recommend the Powerbuilt Unijack # ALL620470 as this jack will easily slide underneath the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MAL25FR. It also has a safety bar that will lock in place unlike other hydraulic jacks that mechanically prevents it from lowering while you are working on the trailer. This will lift up to 4,000lbs between 8-5/8" and 18-3/8" high.

The Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack # FXP10 would require you to bolt it to the trailer frame and the hardware included may need to be replaced to fit your frame. If you have kayaks loaded you would most likely need to remove the one on the side that you will be lifting to change the tire.
