The rack was very simple to assemble and install on my 2023 Hyundi Palisade. The ramp makes it so much easier to load my Electra cruiser bike. I have ordered an electric bike from EBC, and I can't wait to try loading it. I will try to follow up when I get the new bike and use the rack some more.
Excellent product. Well made.
Arrived damaged. Emailed Yakima for support several days ago but no response.
Most e bikes are up at 80lbs.
Yakima has been in the game for a long time and this unit is built like a tank.
The unit is heavy, but it speaks for itself.
If you are traveling any distance this is the most stable unit I have owned.
I'm very happy.
Easy to install and load bikes. Very sturdy and smooth operation
Set up was a breeze. Light weight and bikes fit perfectly.
Very durable piece of equipment. Only had it for a few days but getting ready for a 2,000 mile road trip
I did like almost everything about this rack. I was shopping for a rack that would hold two e-bike and was approved for use on a bumper pull travel trailer. First the sales representative at eTrailer was excellent in verifying the mounting on out trailer. The order process was quick and smooth with no issues. My order was shipped the same day that it was ordered. I was shocked at how fast the carrier was delivered, two days after it was ordered. To put the carrier together was basically one bolt. The weight was not a problem to get into the receiver on our trailer. The next was to mount the bikes to the carrier itself. The Ramp worked well with the 70 pound e-bike. Adjusting the was a bit of an issue. With how the hold down straps are mounted you have to adjust the sliding rails to fit the wheel base of your bike. When I had both of my e-bike mounted correctly the wheel only had about an inch and a half of the trie on the rail it self. I have Searched for rail extenders but have not been able to find any. Looking at my photos you will see that they need to be about 4 to 5 inches longer. Once strapped in they are secure at least while the trailer is not moving. I plan to make some extensions for poly carbonate.
