Question:
2018 Honda CRV Questions for OnRamp LX Bike Rack I have a Honda-installed 1.25 hitch. 1. Will a regular road bike fit on rack along with e-bike? 2. Will my brake lights be out of view when bikes are loaded? 3. If the tongue weight for the car is 150 lbs, do I include weight of rack in calculation? 4. Are there any known issues with rear view camera obstruction when rack is folded up? Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out, Barbara!
The Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack # Y28DJ is a great new addition to the Yakima lineup of bike rack and I'm excited to see people asking about it! Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Yes, you can mix and match bike styles on this rack.
2. The brake lights should still be visible (this is really dependent on the bikes), but your bike tires will likely be in the way so I would consider them partly visible. You can use the Light Kit # Y74VR to keep your lights visible though!
3. The weight of the bike rack (53.5 lbs) will be subtracted from the 150 lb tongue weight of your vehicle, yes.
4. Pretty much every bike rack mounted at the back will obstruct the view of the backup camera on any vehicle.

Hey Barbara, how did things go with the OnRamp LX bike rack on your CRV? Were your brake lights still easy to see once both bikes were loaded? Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar rack.
