This RV power control center combines an AC/DC panel with a smart converter charger. Creating easy access to your electrical connections, this all-in-one breaker box distributes AC and DC loads to your RV and charges your batteries while connected to shore power. It's compatible with lithium and lead acid batteries.
The panel supplies AC and DC distribution to your RV's electrical system. The AC section has space for up to 3 breakers rated for 120V at 30 amps. This lets you have up to 6 branch circuits when you use tandem breakers. The DC section has 12 branch fuse holders capable of using (2) 30 amp and (10) 20 amp fuses. However, you will need to purchase AC breakers and DC fuses separately to complete the installation.
Once all of your connections are made, the breakers and fuses are easily accessible by opening the door on the front of the box. The door also includes a blank label to list all of the connections.
The integrated converter charger changes AC shore power into DC power to charge your battery bank. It includes an output mode switch that lets you choose either lithium or lead acid batteries. No matter what type of battery is installed in your RV, you'll always have the most efficient charging profile. If your RV already has a stock converter charger, it will need to be removed to ensure this unit operates properly.
In lithium mode, the unit uses a higher output voltage, which provides a fast, complete charge. It also extends battery life since it utilizes the appropriate charging profile. Additionally, this mode is compatible with your battery's internal Battery Management System (BMS), which helps manage the charge cycle by monitoring the battery state and balancing cell voltage.
In lead acid mode, the Charge Wizard automatically switches voltages while your lead acid battery bank charges. This accelerates the charge but also helps extend battery life by adjusting the voltage during the different modes. This function is compatible with flooded lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries.
Charging Modes
The system includes a number of safety features. It has a reverse polarity protection that will protect the converter if the battery is hooked up incorrectly. Additionally, the unit includes protection for overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent, which can damage your equipment, as well as the converter. The built-in cooling fan also removes excess heat from the unit. The fan speed is proportional to the internal temperature of the converter, so when the power demand is low, the fan will operate quietly.

It was intimidating at first, but having the instructions right next to the unit it wasn't too difficult to figure out. I only wish there was a way to turn off battery charging without disconnecting the whole DC, so when i'm running off the battery, it's not trying to also charge it
About a year ago I bought a Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter for my vintage trailer. Coupled with solar panels, 2 deep cycle batteries, and the attendant wiring and fusing, it makes a great Power Distribution Center for both AC and DC in my trailer. I am very pleased with its versatility and value. It is one of the few "all-in-one" AC/DC Power Distribution systems. It is robust enough to run all of my DC systems while connected to "shore power," and charge the batteries at the same time. There are plenty of slots for AC breakers and DC fuses. I would buy this item again.
It was an exact fit for my RV. The converter has been working great since I installed it.
I wasn't sure if I was able to do this job myself. Our last converter was making a high pitch sound that drove her crazy. I could not hear it. But I labeled all the wiring before disconnecting them from the original one. It was a pain being on the floor to do the work, but probably save 500. By not taking it to a dealer. Make sure to get the same exact model number of the one you have before you order your part. You can do it.

The fuse panel has been working great. Now Im the only noise that irritates my wife now.
A little bit confusing when speaking with sale team, received conflicting information regarding converters application. Shipping was fast but converter container was damaged and poorly packed for sensitive electronics. Previous business with etrailer has been stellar. May be awhile before I can hookup converter, so hopeful nothing was damaged!

I bought this for a cargo trailer conversion. It's perfect! Came with good instructions and templates. I won't hesitate to purchase another in the future.
Nice unit, I wish the exterior would be something other than plastic and the install directions were more precise. The PD045 sits close to the floor and a case of something other than plastic would be more durable. Perhaps an aluminum cover would help. The new unit replaced a 25yo and my Leisure Travel RV. The new 4045 works well. It took a year to installs as I could not find a local RV place that would work on the replacement. Decided to educate myself and installed the unit this spring ( I bought the 4045 model last summer). The etrailer install videos were useful as well as numerous YouTube guides. However, much better manufacturer instructions would have saved a lot of time.
Had professional install 3 hours. Works well. Slightly damaged but install was able to fix without issue

It's not an easy one but since I am an aircraft mechanic, that helped a lot in the process and our trailer has never operated better since buying it. Things we thought were just issues we had to live with all went away after replacing our old Converter.

This all-in-one power center is very well designed. Made to keep on-board batteries continuously charged, plenty of room for branch circuit breakers and 12v circuits. Built-in ventilation fan to keep the electronics cool. It comes in a smart looking case with hinged door access to the breakers and fuses and led indicator lights showing blown fuse location. Vey pleased with my choice of a distribution center for my trailer rebuild.

Took me about 2 days to install had to figure out all the color and number codes on on the DC side, but after figuring out and connecting, everything all works great. My battery is now staying charged, yahoo!

I bought this converter to replace the stock converter in my Geo Pro trailer. I switched to a lithium battery, and this converter is built with a switch so in works with both lead acid and lithium batteries. Used the trailer full time last year for 11 weeks and the converter worked flawlessly.

We live in our rv full time and the installation of this power inverter was a great upgrade. I needed one that would charge our lithium batteries while plugged in ana it has worked flawlessly. It is a little smaller then the old outdated one, but was easy to remedy.

working flawlessly. Pretty much plug in the rv and forget it. It does let out a loud squealing noise when you first plug in but it goes away within 30 seconds.
Unfortunately this converter was not a “drop-in” replacement (as advertised by PD) for the existing converter in my trailer. It’s actual dimensions are larger and would not fit in my existing converter space. I should have double checked the specs. More disconcerting was that it was shipped without the factory packaging and manuals by etrailer. It came in a box with paper padding that seemed inadequate to protect sensitive electronics. etrailer needs to do better than this.

Item works perfectly so far very good w orkmanship
I’ve ordered from a trailer multiple times. Pretty disappointing when I received a converter worth a few hundred dollars not packaged properly. I’m just hoping that it works so that I don’t have to send it back. But on this occasion it was very surprising/disappointing. Anyways, that’s my two bits!
