Keep your large marine battery stable and protected on every trip. External terminals give you quick access to power for trolling motors and onboard gear, and the tough plastic box stands up to sun, spray, and vibration.
Big boats need big power, and this box is built for it. Designed for group 29 and 31 series batteries, it gives your deep cycle or dual-purpose marine battery a secure, vented home with the clearance it needs. The 38" hold-down strap keeps the lid tight and the battery stable, even when water conditions aren't.
Whether you're powering a trolling motor or charging onboard electronics, the external terminals make it easy to tap into your battery without pulling the lid. It's a smarter solution for marine setups that need convenience and performance without extra wiring headaches.
Molded from heavy-duty black plastic, this box resists cracking, corrosion, and UV exposure. It's made to perform in saltwater, sun, and spray - everything your gear sees during a long day on the water.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Attwood PowerGuard Vented Battery Box. Now this box is designed for your Group 29 and 31 series batteries. It's going to give your deep cycle or dual purpose marine battery a secure vented home with the clearance that it needs. This does include this 38 inch long hold down strap that's going to keep the lid tight and the battery stable even when the water conditions aren't.
I'm gonna go ahead and remove this strap here real quick, just give you a view of the inside. So this is going to fit those batteries that have a maximum height with the terminals of nine and three quarters inches. This is heavy duty plastic, so it's going to resist fleck, sun and salt for long-term use in boats, trailers, and RVs. The interior dimensions, we're sitting about 15 and 7/16 inches long, six and 15/16 inches wide. And like I said, this is going to fit batteries with a maximum height with the terminals of nine and three quarters inches.
And then popping the lid back on here, the overhaul height, it's gonna be about 10 and a quarter inches tall. The overall length about 18 and 7/8 inches long. And then the overall width, about nine and a quarter inches wide. So it's gonna be very easy to get this secured in place with this strap. If you look there at the bottom of my table, on the right here below, it does include the hardware to get the straps secured in place so it can hold everything together.
I'm just gonna run this through here. So overall, it's a very durable box. I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. If you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We do wanna be sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need, and we do have other sizes of this available as well for different types of batteries from Attwood.
Well, it's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
