Question:

Good afternoon. I have a PD4045KA that’s no longer charging my battery in my RV. I’ve bought new batteries also and still the same issue. Do you sell just the inverter by its self? I don’t really need the whole assembly with the fuses and all. Thank you.

Yes, the converter section of your # PD4045KA can be replaced with the # PD4045CSV. This is a direct replacement that will install exactly the same as the old one. This also includes a lithium switch so that you can easily change the charging profile over if you ever switch to lithium.

Hi Kevin, I have a PD4045KA. I wanted to change from acid batteries to lithium batteries. I looked at my convert unit. It doesn't have a lithium switch but it does have a jumper. Currently it sets at Wiz and middle. Should I change the jumper to middle and Li. Is this all I need to do to be able to change to use lithium batteries? Thanks.

@SteveH Yes, the switch is just on newer models to make the process a bit easier. The black jumper accepts two prongs so you'd just pull it off and push it on the LI and middle position like you were thinking to transition over to lithium.
