Can the Converter Section of a PD4045KA Be Upgraded to 60amps and Charge Lithium Batteries

Hi, my RV has PD4045KA, is that possible to upgrade to this 60amp version for quicker charging? On the other hand does this support lifepo4-batteries? Thanks

To be completely honest, there really is not much of a need to upgrade to the Converter Section for Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power 4000 Series 60 Amp Power Center # PD4060CSV. It would also be more than just the converter section as well. You would need to upgrade the entire system to the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard # PD4060K because the DC section is rated a bit higher than the one in your Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard # PD4045KA.
The reason I say that it is not really needed is because the charge rate is actually going to be the same between both the 45 amp and 60 amp versions. The difference is in the power output of the two, with the # PD4045KA outputting 45 amps and 610 watts and the # PD4060K outputting 60 amps and 810 watts. With either one you will have the same charge rate, so only go with the higher-rated option if it is needed for your set up.
The Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard # PD4045KA you already have is lithium compatible and therefore will work with your LiFePO4 batteries.

i have a 2011 model PD4045KA. Is this also Lithium compatible ? or do i need to buy a pd4045CSV ?
