Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at the 78 inch long galvanized heavy-duty crossbars for your Malone MicroSport trailers. Now, these heavy-duty galvanized crossbars are designed for your Malone MicroSport trailers to provide additional bar length and increase the load capacity to your sport trailer. They're designed for items such as your heavy fishing kayaks, multiple boat transport, and those needing to add bikes or cargo box to their trailer. As you can see on the table before me, all of the mounting hardware that you need to successfully install these bars are included, along with end caps for each ends of the bars, and instructions to guide you step by step.
Let me pull out my tape measure here just to confirm that length with you. We are sitting right at 78 inches long. And then the width of these bars, we are sitting right at an inch and a quarter wide on each of these bars. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

I had a little issue when I received the box. The only thing in them was the 2 load bars, 2 of the four mounts, and the instructions. The rest of the hardware was gone. It looked like the end of the box had ripped off and they just put a bunch of white tape on it (most likely this happened during shipping). I reached out to etrailer and they contacted the supplier and I received all the hardware after about 2 weeks. Once I recieved the hardware the mounting of the crossbars went quickly. I have an older Malone kayak trailer and it had the rectangular crossbars on it it and I wanted to put some Malone bunks on it but they wouldn't work with the rectangular bars, that's why I ordered these. It came out great and now my kayaks are sitting on bunks instead of saddles which will be better for them.
Ordered on June 17, arrived Jul 9 - over 3 weeks! It arrived missing all hardware to install it. Called etrailer on same day, 7/15 and still have not received shipping info on the missing hardware! This is Unsat!

For hauling conventional kayaks/canoes and/or bicycles this product works well and we use it to do just that. I also own a fishing kayak which weighs more than two of my conventional kayaks. I don’t think the crossbars are robust enough to handle that kind of weight over the roads I frequently drive on so I got a different trailer more suited to that boat. We still have our Malone and these crossbars work great.
Box looks prone to damage. Both ends arrived retaped. All hardware except for two brackets were missing. Phoneline Customer Service is very uncanny valley.
The 78 inch Malone cross bars worked perfectly on my trailer because of having wider fishing kayaks excellent product
I purchased a MicroSport trailer a few years back and since I only had 1 kayak at the time, I shortened the crossbars. But Now I have a second kayak and needed the 78" bars again. Now I can easily convert my trailer from singe to double. Great product, fast shipping, great service. Thanks again!
I bought a used Malone kayak trailer that had lighter bars and I wanted these heavy duty ones for my two kayaks, these were much better. Very easy to install and everything needed was included.
First they lost my item. I reordered and they sent me the wrong item. Terrible service
The new 78" load bars fit perfectly. Easy install and the extra width is great for 2 Malone Mega wings to fit 2 Old Town 120s. Shipping was faster than anticipated and everything arrived safe.

After a year of install and over 2 dozen trips, the bars are holding up perfectly. No issues at all with them and they are still as good as the day I installed them.
Exactly what I needed! Fit perfectly and didn't take long to install.

Package was battered and 2 of the mounting brackets were missing. Also arrived 4 days late.
Needed these crossbars to accommodate two Topwater kayaks (the crossbar that came with the trailer was too narrow. Very well made, heavy duty bars that came with additional hardware that improved the utility of the trailer.

One year with this trailer and absolutely no complaints or issues. Use it to carry two Old Topwater kayaks it’s great. MUCH easier than the back of the truck! Highly recommended.

This bar fits better on my trailer. It’s longer so kayaks have more space. It’s larger with size keeps the J hooks more secure too. It was easy to install myself, and I’m 74 yo woman. E trailer delivers

The replacement crossbars are excellent after one year of hard use. I no longer have issues with J hooks slipping. The bars offer D rings for extra security and are a bit longer than original black rubber coated bars. More space for carrying kayaks. Very happy with this product and my Thule accessories still fit as well as J hooks bought on Amazon . No rust after 1 year outside
I wanted to make an extra, tongue-mounted load bar setup for our new tandem kayak. Malone sells a tongue-mounted bar assembly for the regular MicroSport but not for the LowBed. This crossbar and hardware set combined with a Lowbed Conversion Support Tube (item # MAL33TR) worked perfectly for a DIY accessory setup! And etrailer's customer support from George and Amy was wonderful every step of the way!
The product was just what I ordered. I'm expanding my kayak trailer to hold up to 4, so I ordered wider cross bars and another carrier. A little frustrating to find it was not really in stock, however, communication from the etrailer team was outstanding.
Great product. Needed to add two more kayaks to my trailer. Install was a breeze.

I ordered an kit with wider support bars for my kayak trailer. The box was damaged in shipment and some hardware was missing. I called in about it and was promptly sent a complete set of hardware. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend doing business with etrailer
