58” bars. Can the 78” crossbars for the MicroSport model, part #MPG4001 be used in place of the 58”?

The crossbars of the EcoLight trailers like the # MAL53FR are different from the Microsport trailer bars like the # MPG4001 you mentioned. They are a different size and attach to the trailer differently. If you want a trailer with this bar length you'd need to go with the MicroSport Trailer # MPG460G which has twice the weight capacity too at 800 lbs.
