Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement handheld remote for the Maxxair Roof Vent Intake Exhaust Fans. Now this is going to replace the handheld remote control for your Maxxair roof vent that has both the intake and exhaust capabilities. Specifically, this fits the Maxxair MaxxFan Plus item number MA00-04500K. And it also works with the MaxxFan Deluxe item numbers MA00-05100K.
And then the MA00-06200K. And then the MA00-07000K. And then finally, the MA00-07500K. Now this includes everything that you see here. One remote control, one wall mount, and then the batteries, and then the screws to mount the wall mount.

When I first tried the replacement remote it was malfunctioning with most of the button controls not functioning. When I pushed the power button the Maxxfan opened and fan speed was 100%. It wouldn’t shut down with the remote. I shut it off with the fan controls. I came back a few hours later and tried it again and the fan speed buttons worked. After shutting it down with the remote I tried it again and all functions worked. Very satisfied with my purchase!

Works as expected, although you do need to have the remote fairly close to the fan in order for it to work (about 4 or 5 feet) - which kind of defeats the purpose.

I’ve had the remote for about a year now, continues to work flawlessly. Use it to adjust the MaxxAir fan when I’m in bed and don’t want to get out of bed to adjust the fan.
I was told that this remote would work with our max air fan and when we purchased it it was winterized and I couldn’t get into it and now this summer that we’ve gotten into it I find out now that is not programmable with the series we have I believe we have the 6000 series and the 7000 is the only one that works with it and when I ordered it I asked and they said yes it would work with it and now I’m stuck with $xxx remote that I can’t use was hoping I could return it let me know.

We only allow returns on items less than 60 days. This remote works on the 7000k fan. The manufacturer does not make a 6000k fan. They do have a 6200k fan and it does not work with this remote.
I would like to thank Jon & Tiffani for going above & beyond. I made the mistake of ordering the incorrect item which was totally on me. They quickly answered my questions & help me make the correct order. They also helped me with the return which was slightly past their return window policy. The customer service was excellent & will have me returning to etrailer with no worries on my future orders. Thanks again
Works perfectly with my MaxxAir fan. My previous remote didn't have the reverse (Air Out/Air In) button even though the fan has the feature. It arrived on time and packed well.
Just what I needed as the original controller did not come with reversing button. Why I don’t know?

Remote is replacing broken original remote. Batteries are included, but I installed lithium batteries. Walked over to fan, pushed remote on button, fan instantly responded to new remote.
