Have a maxxfan model 00-04951KS does this work with a remote control or can you covert it to work with a remote control?

Hello Steve, thanks for reaching out. Our records show the MaxxFan 00-04951KS does not use a remote and there is no way to convert it to work with a remote. If you want a remote operated vent fan you will need to replace the whole vent assembly with a new one. For that I recommend the following:

Hey Steve, did you end up going with the MaxxFan Deluxe vent that includes the remote? Knowing how it worked for you could help others thinking about upgrading their fan setup.
