The functions of the Replacement Handheld Remote for Maxxair Roof Vent Intake/Exhaust Fans # MA00A01150K will be Fan On and Power Off, Vent Lid Position, Air Exhaust Or Intake, Fan Auto Mode, Thermostat Set Temperature, and Fan Speed. If the remote is not turning on however, there may be a pull tab blocking the batteries, or the batteries may also need to be replaced. This will be less likely for a new camper like yours, so I would definitely check for a plastic pull tab.
