I have a Maxxair 4900K and came with a white remote. Will this one work on my unit?

The Maxxair website doesn't list the 4900K as coming with a remote control option. It may have been something added by a manufacturer.
The Replacement Handheld Remote for Maxxair Roof Vent Intake/Exhaust Fans - Qty 1 # MA00A01150K or the Exhaust only fan remote # MA00A01151K are the only remote controls we carry.
