Item came in good working condition however factory packaging seemed to missing a piece. The etrailer team was extremely helpful in getting this replaced quickly. Their customer service will keep me returning to their site as I am assured they stand behind their products!
The unit arrived quickly and included thorough instructions on what was needed. The complete assembly was straight-forward, with screws and wires easily hidden; and the functionality is everything I was hoping for - good fan flow, not too draining on my battery system, with a good ring light on the outside edge. The operation is easy and no rain came in while open and on the move.
This vent will be used in my camper build in the roof of the bath area. Product looks well made and I especially like the heavy duty gasket where the dome comes down. Time will tell how it works in the real world.
Was exactly what I expected....glad that ordered with led light ring. Seems to be very solid unit.
Overall great experience. Good customer service answering questions before purchase. Product was direct fit replacement on our LTV 2017 Serenity RV. If you have a curved interior ceiling it takes a little effort to adjust the extension sleeve so the light ring hasa flush fit to the ceiling. Much quieter than the original fan.
First of all, it was wonderful to see how well the vent was packaged and to see all parts were included. The installation was straight forward, but it was a little difficult to align the interior trim ring just right. The vent works great and we are thrilled with the bright LED light.
I think it seems like a great product that adapts to variables with this kind of part.
But if you don't need half the parts you're paying for them anyway. A lot. But that said I wish the adaptive tube was easy to cut and there are no really helpful suggestions in that regard.
Easy to install
Easy install and replacement for stock vent fan in Casita bathroom. Total time about 2.5 hrs with tea breaks.

Meant probably more for bathrooms then a van build. I picked this over the other simple unit as I'm building out a small van and wanted some airflow. Poor at best and hard to sleep with it on and running.

Delivered on time and well packed. The Maxxfan Dome Plus is a very nice assembly and is a lot better built than the fan that was OEM with my Airstream Interstate.
Installed this today. Very easy replacement in airstream bath. Not to noisy and the light is fantastic. Only 4 stars at this time because of reviews saying they become noisy after a few months. We will see. etrailer is great!

Stephen D - 04/10/2022It looks like the issue might be a bad wire connection of the light wires or a bad ground connection. LED lights should last a long while and so I would check those two connections to see if that fixes the light problem first.
