Question:
can i install it on a side wall with a rain collar? I have a Coachmen Galleria with a Nova Kool ref and 2 little 12v condensing units that put a lot of unwanted heat into the cab in the summer. My roof is full of solar panels so a side wall exhaust may be my best option. Any thoughts or advice will be greatly appreciated. Driscoll

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can absolutely install the MaxxFan Dome on the sidewall of your trailer; in fact, it is designed to be installed either in the sidewall or the roof; the correct part number for the vent is the following:
- MaxxFan Dome Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - LED Light # MA00-03810W
The # MA00-03810W actually comes with its own rain shield so you don't have to get one separately. It also comes with the screws needed for install, but you will need Sealant # 34427034143-1.
